Why I stopped buying high-resolution music and why I'm glad I listened to it

When I was little, records were already almost unheard of, basically CDs or cassettes, sometimes MDs.

Eventually, physical media disappeared, and in no time at all, mp3s exploded, and streaming, where you don't even keep the data with you, became the mainstream.

Because I love music, I've dabbled in everything from records to streaming, and of course, there was a time when I pursued high-resolution sound sources.

It was a lot of work, a lot of money, and a lot of conflicting standards.

Thanks to that, I had a lot of speakers and amplifiers at home, and I learned enough about how to connect them and what to do with them, as well as the basics of music data to be able to quickly answer questions when people asked me. I was able to learn a lot about what Sony is trying to do and what users are unhappy with in the end.

In the end, Sony stopped calling it high-resolution high-resolution, and there were no new devices, so I joined Amazon Music HD, a service that allows you to listen to unlimited high-resolution music if you pay about 2,000 yen a month, and that's how I listen to most of my music.

Well, there are some niche recordings that Amazon doesn't have, but it's not as easy as it sounds.

I've learned further that "what I say I can do, I can do in about two steps" is the most comfortable for humans.
