先週の土曜日、友達宅にお呼ばれしてDreams Come Trueの有料配信ライブを一緒に観ました。

あと、チケット一枚3000円という価格設定が絶妙だなと思いました。
その昔、音楽がP2Pで違法ダウンロードできるようになり、誰もCDを買わなくなってしまった過去がありますが、しばらくして登場したサブスクリプションサービスにより、違法ダウンロードの類も年々語られなくなりましたよね。
あまりに高すぎたり、時代に合わないガチガチの設定だと配信ライブをしても録画してYouTubeなどに流す輩が出てくるでしょうが、3000円や2000円そこらで配信ライブをパッと観られるなら、違法動画をあの手この手で観るよりもスパっと金を払うわと言うのが、大半の消費者なんじゃないかと思います。
ホールやドームでライブをすると収容人数に限界はありますが、ネット配信だとほぼ無限に増やせますし、まぁ機材に拘ると出費はすごそうですが、どう考えたってライブで巨大セット組むよりかは安く上がりそうだし、配信は配信の苦労があると思いますが、それも積み重ねでどんどんスマートになるんだろうなぁ。
